To a hyena, a butt is a sacred part of the body, firm and round it drives your momentum and deflects attacks.

So it was a shocking and demoralizing experience when Kiyara watched her beloved butt warp into flukes and paddle like flippers. She hadn't yet had the chance to see the loss of her mane.
